Classes

The ISTD is one of the worlds leading dance examination boards. We are fully trained within the ISTD allowing us to teach and put students through their modern theatre exams.

Modern Theatre dance is a rhythmic dance style which originated in America before travelling to the rest of the world. It is often seen on the stages of musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities.

 

The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps, and turns which all need strength and flexibility. 

 

Our syllabus classes currently range from Grade 1 Modern Theatre to Intermediate Level.

Examination in the graded syllabus is offered to all students at Studio Unique.
